addendum: radio show

okay, so the radio show schedule doesn't start until after labor day weekend. i have time then.

i think i've come up with a DJ name, though. the director had sent out an email telling everyone to come up with a show and a name that wasn't "shitty and boring," so i asked if going by my first name was "shitty and boring" because i didn't feel comfortable nicknaming myself. he replied that last year someone's show was called "hubery cumberdale's happy hour," so if i could just come up with something wacky, that'd work.

but when i saw the name "hubery" i thought of the word "hubris," which is kind of the tone that the name has. that gave me the idea of using either etymology or another language to derive my name.

what do you all think of "Aléa Toire"? it's just the french word for random split in two, but i think it's rather pretty. now i need a show name, maybe something that rhymes or alliterates. i'm considering stealing a show name from NPR, "All Things Considered," because that's more or less what my show does. i'm glad there's another week to think about it.
